one program you will need which i can mention because it is not a rom nor is it a program which emulates them is lunar ips. if someone is interested feel free to add me for more info i would gladly help anyone out so they can experience this amazing game with a pal. I cant go into detail about getting the hack up and running cause that would require me to start discussing stuff that is against the rules. Here is the hack (this is not a rom so as far as i understand im not breaking any rules, i beleive this site does not even have roms just mods for them but im not 100 percent sure.) it transfers full party leader control including using menus ect. control of who gets to move on the world when out of battle can be swapped by switching the chars using select while out of battle. What the mod does it allow the 2nd controller to be used to control the bottom two chars in battle. u will need to apply translation patch to it and then apply the coop mod. It takes a couple steps tho but its really easy once you get the program you need. Great news for anyone wanting to play other older FF games coop.
